A note from Jemima, Founder of Club 15
Like many, my passion for golf started with family. It was my grandfather who first introduced me to the sport, patiently teaching me to play and sparking a lifelong love for the game.
That foundation earned me a golf scholarship to Georgia State University, four years competing at the highest level of the US college game, with ambitions of turning professional.
When I moved into corporate finance in the UK, I saw the game from the other side. In client-facing roles I watched relationships, mandates and promotions take shape on the course — and I watched talented people kept outside that circle. In the US, the game was a natural, accessible part of how business got done. In the UK the experience felt clunky, administratively painful and weighed down by outdated stigmas.
The people already playing deserved a way to use the channel without the friction. The people who wanted to learn deserved a way in that didn't ask them to already belong. The firms who grow on those relationships deserved more than an advantage only a lucky few could use.
I founded Club 15 to bridge that gap.
